Taxi Operations City Lead – Diwanyah

About the role

We are seeking an experienced City Lead to head Baly’s ride‑hailing operations in Diwanyah. The role combines sales leadership, field management and data‑driven decision‑making to grow driver supply, improve marketplace performance and achieve city‑level targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall performance of the ride‑hailing business in Diwanyah, setting and meeting targets for driver acquisition, activation, supply and retention.
• Develop and execute driver acquisition strategies, build pipelines, oversee the full funnel from lead generation to first trip, and launch re‑activation and retention initiatives.
• Lead and coach the field sales and acquisition team (Sales Officers, Promoters), set individual targets, monitor productivity and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Track, analyse and report on KPIs such as registration, onboarding, activation, conversion rates, utilization and retention; use insights to close performance gaps.
• Collaborate with Hub, Operations, Customer Care, Finance, Marketing and other functions to resolve onboarding issues and support city‑wide campaigns.
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activity, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership, field operations or driver acquisition within a ride‑hailing or logistics environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and translate insights into action plans.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, capable of building high‑performance teams.
• Results‑oriented attitude with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth targets.
