City Lead – Taxi Operations (Erbil)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced City Lead to head Baly’s ride‑hailing operations in Erbil. The role will drive driver acquisition, activation, supply growth and overall marketplace performance, working closely with hub and operations teams to ensure sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own city‑level performance, set and achieve targets for driver acquisition, activation, supply and retention.
• Monitor daily metrics, identify gaps and implement action plans to improve marketplace performance.
• Lead driver acquisition strategy, build pipelines, oversee the full funnel from lead generation to first trip, and develop re‑activation initiatives.
• Manage and coach Sales Officers, Promoters and field acquisition teams, set targets, monitor productivity and conduct performance reviews.
• Track and analyse KPIs such as registration, onboarding, conversion rates, utilization and retention, and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with Hub, Operations, Customer Care, Finance, Marketing and other functions to resolve onboarding issues and support city campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership, field management and operational execution within a transport or ride‑hailing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decisions and improve performance.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to build high‑performance teams.
• Ability to adapt strategies based on market conditions and competitor activity.
