Driver – Transportation Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced driver to join our transportation team at a leading Toyota dealer in Sulaimaniyah. You will be responsible for planning routes, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring that shipments reach customers on time.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes based on customer orders, delivery schedules, and driver availability.
• Assign drivers to specific routes and provide necessary instructions and documentation.
• Monitor delivery status and communicate with drivers to ensure on‑time arrivals and pickups.
• Track shipments and update customers on order status as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to arrange transportation services.
• Resolve any issues or delays that arise during transportation operations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records, including driver logs, vehicle maintenance schedules, and delivery documentation.
• Evaluate transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
• Provide support and assistance to drivers and other transportation staff as required.

Required profile

• Valid Iraqi general driving license with a clean record.
• 2–3 years of professional driving experience.
• Good knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and routes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime if required.
