Material Handling Equipment Field Service Representative

About the role

The Material Handling Equipment Field Service Representative provides on‑site technical support, inspection and repair for a range of material handling vehicles to customers in Erbil. The role acts as the local liaison, ensuring safety, compliance and a positive image of the service organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting and on‑site repairs for cranes, forklifts and loaders.
• Perform inspections, sustainment maintenance, retrofits and modifications on multiple platform vehicles.
• Conduct technical analysis of vehicle implementations and document findings.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Submit expense reports, timecards and other required documentation.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed, relocating on short notice within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Minimum four years of certified vehicle maintenance experience and ASE‑level certification (or military equivalent).
• Physical ability to lift 55 lb, work in extreme temperatures and meet medical fitness standards for deployment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
• Willingness to work in austere, potentially combat‑zone environments under U.S. government control.

Required skills

• Inspection, testing and repair of material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, loaders).
• Knowledge of U.S. Military vehicle maintenance processes and related publications.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with power tools, lifting devices and test‑measurement‑diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
• Vehicle fault diagnostics and component‑level maintenance (ASE certified).
