Vehicle Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Vehicle Maintenance Manager will lead the daily operations of the Maintenance Department (Field Maintenance Support) for V2X in Balad, Iraq. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Manager, you will ensure all maintenance tasks meet contractual requirements and support mission readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and guarantee on‑time, high‑quality mission execution.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to assess performance and satisfaction.
• Coordinate staffing, technical approaches, and off‑site facility needs for all task orders.
• Define responsibilities and authority for all direct reports.
• Promote a teamwork‑focused, safe EHS culture.
• Conduct regular reviews of operations, budgets, performance metrics, and contract compliance.
• Provide reports on life safety, quality, and maintenance issues.
• Perform routine inspections of all maintenance sections.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of maintenance experience, with 2–3 years in a management role on similar projects.
• Relevant education; one year of experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
• Proven ability to work with customer contract personnel and ensure compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
