Supply Chain Officer

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, execution‑focused Supply Chain Officer to support procurement, logistics and inventory operations for our facilities management projects in Iraq. The role ensures smooth material flow, timely vendor coordination and on‑time availability of resources across the assigned project.

Key responsibilities

• Process procurement requests, generate purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
• Track and follow up with vendors to guarantee timely delivery of materials and services.
• Organise logistics, transportation and delivery schedules.
• Support inventory management, stock tracking and warehouse coordination.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and regular reporting.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and audit requirements.
• Liaise with operations teams to understand material needs and priorities.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or supply issues.
• Update and report on ERP system data related to supply‑chain activities.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Experience in inventory management and warehouse coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and support day‑to‑day operational requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
