Material Handling Equipment Field Service Representative

About the role

The Material Handling Equipment Field Service Representative provides on‑site technical support and advice to customers in Erbil, Iraq. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a range of material handling equipment while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance, inspection support, repairs, sustainment maintenance, retrofits and modifications for cranes, forklifts and loaders.
• Conduct technical analysis of vehicle implementations, troubleshoot problems and determine solutions.
• Act as the local on‑site representative, document expenses and timecards, and work effectively with diverse customers and cultures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; Class A or B CDL preferred.
• Four years of certified vehicle maintenance experience and ASE‑level certification or military equivalent.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures, lift 55 lb, and meet medical/fitness standards for deployment in an austere, active combat zone.

Required skills

• Direct knowledge of material handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts and loaders.
• Proficiency with engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams and technical specification sheets.
• Experience using power tools, lifting devices, TMDE (Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment) and other support equipment.
