Senior Programme Manager – Durable Solutions & DDRR

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to lead the Durable Solutions and Disarmament, Demobilisation, Reintegration and Repatriation (DDRR) portfolio in Iraq. The role supports the Government of Iraq and affected communities in addressing displacement, return, social fragmentation and post‑conflict recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and oversee a multi‑year Peace, Recovery and Solutions portfolio in Iraq.
• Coordinate return, rehabilitation, reintegration and longer‑term solutions for conflict‑affected populations.
• Bridge humanitarian, stabilization, peacebuilding and development approaches to ensure sustainability and government ownership.
• Strengthen systems and promote government‑led solutions in line with IOM’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in programme management within humanitarian or post‑conflict settings.
• Proven ability to work with governmental, intergovernmental and non‑governmental partners.
• Strong understanding of displacement, return and DDRR processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
