Pro Technician – Automotive Maintenance & Repair

About the role

The Pro Technician will perform routine automotive maintenance, quick repairs, and address critical mechanical issues for Toyota customers in Baghdad. You will use advanced diagnostic procedures to pinpoint problems and deliver accurate repair recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Perform a wide range of repairs including engine, brake, transmission, suspension, and electrical system work.
• Replace faulty components with genuine Toyota parts, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing to meet Toyota’s quality standards.
• Document all work performed, parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings according to dealership procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers, explaining repair needs, costs, and timelines.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and other technicians to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of automotive technical experience, preferably in a Toyota or authorized dealership environment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Good understanding of Toyota technical standards, repair procedures, and safety requirements.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a workshop setting.
