Service Advisor

About the role

The Service Advisor will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles to the service department. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, coordinating repairs, and ensuring customers are informed throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, assess vehicle service needs and recommend appropriate maintenance or repair solutions.
• Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to guarantee timely completion.
• Communicate regularly with customers, providing updates on vehicle status, repair progress and any additional requirements.
• Prepare accurate service estimates, explain pricing and recommended work, and handle warranty claims documentation.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns or complaints professionally and seek satisfactory resolutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of service transactions, repair orders and vehicle service history.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive after‑sales, service advising or a comparable customer‑service role.
• Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service environment is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship‑management and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and good English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using automotive service management systems.
