Accountant – 3‑Month Fixed‑Term Role in Erbil

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our team in Erbil on a three‑month assignment. The role involves managing financial records, preparing reports and supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Prepare financial reports and perform reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software/systems.
