Head of Credit and Operations

About the role

The Head of Credit & Operations will lead credit management, operational controls, supply‑chain coordination and financial risk functions for our Iraq business. You will ensure efficient execution, maintain healthy receivables, optimise working capital and support sustainable growth while complying with company policies and regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce credit risk policies, collections and receivables control processes.
• Oversee distribution operations, supply‑chain workflows and commercial finance activities.
• Monitor and manage financial risk, working capital and cash‑flow performance.
• Lead and develop cross‑functional teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in credit, finance and operations management.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within distribution, technology, FMCG or related industries.
• Experience managing large customer portfolios and operational teams in emerging markets, preferably Iraq.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
