TMS Generator Service Engineer – Iraq

About the role

As a TMS Generator Service Engineer you will join a multinational engineering team supporting Siemens Energy generators across the Middle East, with a focus on Iraq. You will provide technical expertise to improve the reliability and availability of power generation assets while working in a safety‑first, customer‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely engineering support for technical queries from internal and external customers.
• Act as the primary contact for generator operation, maintenance and commissioning issues.
• Collaborate with a global network of specialists to resolve complex technical challenges.
• Support the planning and execution of maintenance outages, including scope definition and resource planning.
• Present technical solutions in internal and external meetings.
• Participate in post‑outage reviews to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of Siemens Energy generator technology and other manufacturers.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing and repair technologies and materials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in Iraq and familiarity with the local operational context.
• Excellent collaboration and networking abilities.
