Technical Sales Engineer – Power Generators

About the role
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer specialized in power generators to drive business growth in Baghdad. You will work directly with clients to understand their power generation needs, propose suitable generator solutions, and support projects from proposal through commissioning.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with clients to assess power generation requirements and recommend appropriate generator systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, project owners, and end‑users.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
- Provide technical support before and after sales, following up on quotations, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Monitor project progress, ensure customer satisfaction during delivery and commissioning.
- Identify new business opportunities, track market trends, and expand the company’s market presence.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business development goals.
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling power generators in Baghdad.
- Strong technical knowledge of generator systems and related control systems.
- Established network within the construction and project sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Commercial awareness and strong customer‑relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet sales targets.
- Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
