Commercial & Marketing Manager – Airport Operations

About the role

The Commercial & Marketing Manager will drive airport revenue, oversee commercial operations and shape marketing strategies for both airline and non‑airline businesses. The role also supports airport readiness before launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase airport revenue across airline and non‑airline businesses.
• Manage partnerships with airlines, retailers and service providers, handling contracts, pricing and commercial agreements.
• Identify new revenue opportunities, track performance and manage budgets.
• Lead marketing campaigns, brand positioning and digital marketing, supporting airline route development and tourism partnerships.
• Improve passenger experience by monitoring service quality and aligning commercial activities with airport operations.
• Ensure retail and commercial areas are ready for opening, finalize tenant contracts and support testing for a smooth launch.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, tenants and ensure compliance with agreements.
• Lead and develop the commercial & marketing team, set targets and drive performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–12 years of experience in commercial/marketing roles, with 3–5 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in the aviation or airport industry is preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as ACI, AMPA or IATA are a plus.
