Assistant City Principal

About the role

The Assistant City Principal supports the Managing Officer in overseeing daily operations and commercial performance of the Duhok branch, covering Sales, Service, Parts and support functions. The role ensures alignment with business plans, financial targets, customer experience standards and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support branch leadership by coaching, motivating and supervising staff, promoting accountability and compliance with Sardar Group policies.
• Assist in setting performance objectives for sales and operations teams, monitor results and manage improvement plans.
• Help deliver branch profitability, cost control and market‑share targets; review financial closing, margins and corrective actions.
• Coordinate compliance with JLR Dealer Standards, Importer Business Builder, Retailer Excellence Programme and audit findings.
• Monitor customer experience metrics such as Medallia scores and Net Promoter Score, and resolve escalated complaints.
• Oversee vehicle stock management, showroom display standards and traffic police contract processes.
• Track service workshop performance, warranty and goodwill requests, and parts inventory accuracy.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance within the facility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in branch or multi‑department leadership within automotive retail or similar commercial environment.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor financial and operational KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage talent development and handle disciplinary matters.
• Familiarity with dealer standards, compliance frameworks and audit processes.
