Technical Manager - Food Ingredients

About the role

Food Specialities Limited (FSL) is seeking a Technical Manager to lead ingredient trials, formulation development and technical support for customers across Iraq. The role bridges sales, application and operations teams to turn technical projects into commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and convert technical leads through customer visits, market initiatives and existing networks.
• Lead ingredient trials, evaluations and formulation development with customers.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for new product launches in collaboration with sales and application teams.
• Manage and grow customer accounts, identifying business opportunities driven by technical solutions.
• Coordinate with principals/suppliers, internal sales, application, operations, customer service and warehouse teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required profile

• Food Technologist or Food Science graduate.
• Proven experience in ingredient trials, formulation development and technical support.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to order.
