Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

Philadelphia Solar is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations in Baghdad. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials that support the company’s solar projects, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
• Organise and maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Issue materials based on approved requests and update records.
• Prepare regular stock reports and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Identify and report any inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure safe and proper storage of all materials.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in warehousing, storekeeping, or inventory management.
• Strong organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Based in Baghdad or able to work on‑site in Baghdad.

Required skills

• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
