Spa Manager

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced and visionary Spa Manager to lead its spa operations in Baghdad, Iraq. The role covers daily operations, staff leadership, strategic initiatives and guest experience, acting as a brand ambassador who fosters a culture of wellness and exceptional service while driving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all spa operations and facilities, ensuring efficiency, safety and compliance with standard operating procedures and brand guidelines.
• Lead, mentor and develop spa staff through performance management and professional development.
• Drive revenue growth and guest satisfaction through marketing initiatives for spa products and services.
• Review therapist schedules, treatment room utilization and staff productivity to maximize yield.
• Monitor competitor locations, offerings, pricing and positioning, and analyse market trends to stay competitive.
• Oversee monthly inventory checks, control stock levels and manage procurement to optimise costs.
• Enforce quality assurance standards and audit requirements across the spa, reviewing scores against targets.
• Build relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders, and develop guest experience strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a spa or wellness facility in a 5-star hotel, with a track record of leading operations and meeting business objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership in staff recruitment, training, development and performance management.
• Experience in guest experience management and quality assurance standards.
• Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness services and industry standards is highly desirable.
