Site E&I Supervisor – Oil, Gas & Water Surface Project

About the role

The E&I Construction Supervisor supports the Construction E&I Lead in delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality field execution. The role focuses on supervising daily electrical and instrumentation construction activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and coordinating closely with contractors, engineering, and commissioning teams.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices, enforce electrical and instrumentation safety rules, permits and site procedures.
• Supervise contractor teams on cable pulling, termination, instrument installation, panel and junction‑box installation.
• Identify and escalate field issues such as routing clashes, accessibility concerns and installation constraints.
• Track daily progress (cable pulling, terminations, loop completion) and report deviations to the Lead.
• Support construction sequencing for load transfer, instrument migration and control system cut‑over.
• Verify engineering and procurement deliverables (SLDs, ILDs, P&IDs, datasheets, cable drums, panels) are ready for installation.
• Maintain accurate red‑line mark‑ups, as‑built updates and test documentation for handover.
• Assist commissioning teams with loop testing, instrument calibration, energisation preparation and functional testing.

Required profile

• BSc in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 + years experience in Oil & Gas E&I construction, with strong understanding of LV/MV electrical distribution.
• Proven experience supervising E&I construction crews and contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts under direction of the Lead.
