Senior Tender & Bidding Engineer

About the role

The Senior Tender & Bidding Engineer leads end‑to‑end bid, tender and pre‑sales activities for IT solutions aimed at government bodies, large enterprises and the oil & gas sector. The role ensures proposals are technically sound, fully compliant and commercially competitive, supporting revenue growth and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical and commercial proposal preparation in response to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, technical and sales teams to design accurate solutions and cost estimates.
• Support bid transition to project execution, ensuring alignment on scope, cost and deliverables.
• Lead commercial and technical negotiations with clients and vendors.
• Maintain governance by documenting, archiving and tracking all bid submissions.
• Coordinate with finance to secure bid bonds and update legal documents.
• Develop and maintain Excel‑based tracking tools and reference‑number systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex IT tenders and bids.
• Strong understanding of government, enterprise and oil & gas procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical and cost‑estimation skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, technical, finance and vendor teams.
