Microsoft Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise our Microsoft‑based infrastructure across headquarters and remote sites. The role ensures stability, security and high performance of servers, operating systems and overall IT environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft systems, servers and related infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Install, configure and manage Windows Server environments and core Microsoft services.
• Administer physical and virtual servers across multiple locations, including VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Perform routine system maintenance, updates and patch management.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, and manage backup and recovery processes.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution, upgrades and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 2–6 years of overall IT experience, with a focus on Microsoft environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and system hardening.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft services.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, servers, storage and data centre operations.
