IT Service Desk Technician – On‑site Support in Iraq

About the role

This position is physically located in Iraq and provides both on‑site and remote hardware and software support. The role requires an experienced technologist who can work independently and as part of a local and corporate team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log trouble reports via phone, email and service tickets.
• Provide deskside and remote support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Deploy, baseline and configure new equipment for users.
• Train personnel on technology solutions and act as a technical resource.
• Manage user accounts, password changes and group memberships using Windows tools.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required government licenses.
• At least three years of experience as an IT Service Desk Technician.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ and Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certifications.
• Ability to work in extreme desert conditions with temperatures up to 130 °F.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 or higher suite.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and applications.
• Knowledge of Remedy call‑management software for ticketing.
• Familiarity with Server Manager, Print Queue Management and Windows account administration tools.
