Senior Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Operations Coordinator supports the Americas Programs business area by ensuring operational excellence across assigned programs. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the role drives adherence to Vectrus processes, prepares key performance dashboards, and assists senior management with strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of assigned programs, ensuring compliance with Vectrus and government policies.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reports, dashboards, and financial statements for senior leadership and customers.
• Participate in program phase‑in, proposal development, and contingency planning.
• Mentor subordinate program managers, support succession planning, and guide professional development.
• Coordinate with business development, milestone reviews, strategy development, and customer capture activities.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, contract changes, and overall program execution planning.
• Integrate horizontal planning across Vectrus functional operations, Centers of Excellence, and support systems.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain host‑nation driver’s license.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in program operations, logistics, or related fields.
