Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the engineering team of Rabban Al Safina Group of Companies. The role involves creating, reviewing and coordinating mechanical designs for a variety of building and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and study mechanical designs and project drawings for HVAC, refrigeration, firefighting, water and drainage systems.
• Review technical drawings to verify compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil and electrical engineering teams to integrate mechanical solutions.
• Generate quantities, technical specifications and engineering reports.
• Utilize specialized design software to produce accurate drawings and models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience in mechanical design for building, industrial or service projects.
• Strong ability to read, analyze and review engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards, specifications and design requirements.
• Organizational, follow‑up and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, SolidWorks or equivalent mechanical design software.
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration system design.
• Experience designing firefighting, water network and drainage systems.
