Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Baly is expanding its Supply Data Science vertical and seeks a Senior Data Scientist to design and deliver advanced analytics and AI solutions that create measurable commercial and operational value. You will own the full lifecycle of analytical products, from ideation through deployment and impact assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders across commercial, operations, and growth to identify strategic analytics opportunities.
• Lead the development of predictive models, machine‑learning solutions, and analytical frameworks for driver engagement challenges.
• Design scalable products for supply/demand forecasting, driver segmentation, personalization, incentives effectiveness, and driver lifecycle optimization.
• Translate complex model outputs into clear business insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Guide experimentation, A/B testing, and causal inference to validate hypotheses.
• Mentor data analysts and provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to the organization’s advanced analytics and AI roadmap.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data‑driven decision making and AI automation.
• Ensure deployed models deliver measurable impact such as revenue growth, cost reduction, or improved driver engagement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field; additional AI/ML certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics or applied machine learning.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end production‑grade ML solutions at scale with measurable business impact.
• Background in ride‑hailing, e‑commerce or other consumer‑facing environments.
• Strong experience translating business challenges into analytical solutions and working directly with senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English and ability to thrive in an international, fast‑paced environment.
