Sales Consultant – Pre‑Owned Vehicles

About the role

The Sales Consultant – USELECT drives the promotion and sale of pre‑owned vehicles, delivering a professional, customer‑focused experience from first contact through post‑sale follow‑up. The role supports SAS Toyota’s brand values and contributes to overall sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned vehicle sales, revenue, profitability and conversion targets.
• Manage customer inquiries across showroom, phone, digital channels and referrals, providing timely, professional responses.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable pre‑owned vehicles, presenting specifications, pricing and warranty details.
• Handle the full sales cycle: lead qualification, quotations, negotiation, approvals, payment coordination, documentation, closing and delivery.
• Develop new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, campaigns and re‑engagement of past customers.
• Promote financing, insurance, warranty, service packages, accessories and trade‑in solutions.
• Coordinate with appraisal, finance, aftersales, inventory and operations teams to ensure smooth transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Automotive Management or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in automotive sales, preferably pre‑owned vehicle sales or a target‑driven retail environment.
• Strong sales, negotiation, persuasion and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse customer profiles.
• Ability to manage leads, maintain an active pipeline and consistently meet sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for accurate record‑keeping.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
