Rooms Division Manager

About the role

The Rooms Division Manager will lead the Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry teams to deliver seamless guest experiences for a leading hospitality brand operating in Iraq. This senior role combines operational oversight with revenue optimisation and guest satisfaction responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry operations to ensure smooth daily service.
• Drive room revenue performance while managing departmental budgets and controlling operational costs.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction levels, handling VIP guests and escalated service issues.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards and health & safety requirements.
• Lead recruitment, performance management and training initiatives across the Rooms Division.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise operational efficiency and commercial performance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of management experience within Rooms Division operations in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, service standards and team performance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to varying operational schedules.
• Open to candidates based outside Iraq; prior experience in Iraq is an advantage.
