Hospitality Coordinator – Front Desk & Customer Service

About the role

The Hospitality Coordinator will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers at the SAS‑Lexus office in Basra. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, manage front‑desk operations and support daily administrative tasks to maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in person and by phone, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls; manage telephone messages and inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, safe reception area and keep visitor logs and employee directories up to date.
• Receive, sort and distribute mail and deliveries; order and inventory front‑office supplies.
• Handle basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
• Update customer records, type memos and correspondence, and support the sales and service teams.
• Monitor visitors outside the showroom and notify colleagues to ensure timely greetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, English, Hospitality or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in reception, customer service, front desk or hospitality.
• Professional appearance, strong English communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to multitask, work shift hours and collaborate with sales or service advisors.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office.
