Rig Management Service Coordinator (English & Arabic speaking)

About the role

The Rig Management Service Coordinator is the primary on‑shore point of contact for all rig management services in Basra. This senior position supports the client, manages contract performance and coordinates multi‑contractor drilling activities throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the formal ICM focal point for the client, responding within 2 hours locally or 2 working days from Dubai.
• Manage client communications, contractual matters, service performance meetings and technical support.
• Prepare, validate and compile monthly billing, invoicing and KPI reports.
• Assist the client with regulatory permitting dossiers and Iraqi work‑permit processes.
• Coordinate personnel logistics, rotations, visas and on‑site support for rig coaches and safety advisors.
• Track supplier performance, incident management and KPI systems such as Synergi Life.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years drilling industry experience.
• At least 5 years as a Rig Manager, Toolpusher or equivalent senior rig role.
• 3 years experience in a remote on‑shore environment with high H₂S risk.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing).
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
• Available to reside in Basra for the full contract duration.
