Reservoir Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Reservoir Engineer to lead exploration and evaluation activities for hydrocarbon prospects. The role involves comprehensive reservoir analysis, real‑time tracking during drilling, and delivering technical reports that support reserve audits and development planning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic reservoir evaluation and hydrocarbon accumulation analysis using drilling, mud‑logging, well‑logging, core and seismic data.
• Monitor wildcat and appraisal wells in real time, interpret gas logging, well testing and core petrophysical data to define reservoir boundaries and oil‑water contacts.
• Build structural, sedimentary and reservoir models with 3D geological and numerical modeling software, simulate migration and predict reservoir properties.
• Design single‑zone and multi‑zone well‑test programs, oversee on‑site testing, compile pressure and fluid data, and assess deliverability.
• Prepare technical exploration reports, conduct preliminary feasibility studies, and provide engineering support for reserve submissions and block development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or a related field.
• Valid International Well Control Certificate and H₂S Certificate.
• More than 10 years of reservoir engineering experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good health and age under 50 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency with commonly used reservoir evaluation software.
• Experience using 3D geological modeling and reservoir numerical modeling tools.
• Strong ability to interpret well‑testing and core petrophysical data.
• Competence in preparing technical reports and reserve assessments.
