Programme Officer – Rehabilitation, Reconciliation & Reintegration Coordination

About the role

The Programme Officer will lead the coordination of IOM's Rehabilitation, Reconciliation & Reintegration (RRR) programme in Iraq, supporting the return, rehabilitation and reintegration of Iraqi nationals coming from Al Hol and Al Roj camps in north‑east Syria.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Rehabilitation, Reconciliation & Reintegration (RRR) programme in Iraq.
• Work closely with the Government of Iraq and UN partners to facilitate the return, rehabilitation and reintegration of returnees from Al Hol and Al Roj camps.
• Oversee activities at the Al Amal Rehabilitation Center, ensuring that returnees receive appropriate support during their stay.
• Monitor programme implementation, collect data and prepare regular progress reports.
• Support the integration of returned nationals into local communities through liaison with Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) and social services.

Required profile

• Professional experience in humanitarian programme coordination, preferably in return, rehabilitation or reintegration contexts.
• Familiarity with the Iraqi migration and displacement environment.
• Ability to work with government authorities, NGOs and UN agencies.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
