Pro Technician

About the role

The Pro Technician will perform routine automotive maintenance, quick repairs, and address complex mechanical issues for customers at our Toyota dealership in Baghdad. The role involves extensive diagnostics to pinpoint problems and recommend accurate repairs, ensuring vehicles meet Toyota’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
• Perform a wide range of repairs including engine, brake, transmission, suspension, and electrical system work.
• Replace faulty components with genuine Toyota parts, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify that all work complies with Toyota specifications.
• Document all work performed, parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings according to dealership procedures.
• Communicate repair needs, cost estimates, and timelines to customers in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and other technicians to maintain smooth workflow.
• Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of automotive technical experience, preferably with Toyota or an authorized dealership.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnosis, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities in a workshop environment.
