Geophysicist – Senior Advisor

About the role

The Geophysics Advisor joins a senior multi‑discipline petrotechnical team to apply advanced geophysical techniques for large, complex oil and gas field development projects. Reporting to the Senior Geophysics Advisor and Integrated Asset Management senior leadership, you will work closely with engineering, operations, and partner companies.

Key responsibilities

• Validate existing seismic interpretations and generate new products such as structure, isochron, anomaly maps and field‑pay response analyses.
• Support prospect evaluation and field development by building static geological models and characterizing reservoirs for both conventional and unconventional plays.
• Define and standardize best‑practice processes for efficient project evaluation, well engineering, and development planning.
• Participate in cross‑functional workshops and collaborate with Halliburton technical resources and external partners.
• Peer‑review technical work produced by local asset teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geophysics.
• Minimum 10 years of geophysics experience, including seismic reservoir characterization, mature field development, and static model building.
• Demonstrated management experience.
