Workshop Supervisor

About the role

Ford Iraq – SAT is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead its service workshop in Baghdad. The full‑time, on‑site position involves planning work orders, supervising technicians and ensuring all maintenance and repair activities meet Ford’s quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign and monitor daily work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise and coach a team of technicians, promoting safety and professional conduct.
• Coordinate with parts department and service advisors to secure necessary components.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services performed using workshop management systems.
• Monitor workflow efficiency, meet service deadlines and uphold health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with management to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong experience in automotive workshop supervision or management, preferably in an authorized dealer.
• Solid technical knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics and repair procedures; Ford experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to plan workloads, allocate tasks and monitor performance.
• Effective leadership, team coordination and coaching skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in automotive engineering or related field.
