Outreach Assistant

About the role

Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) is looking for a full‑time Outreach Assistant to join its on‑site team in ئێتیتا نوی. You will help design and deliver community outreach initiatives that advance gender equality and support women across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning and implementation of community outreach programs.
• Assist with event coordination and logistics.
• Engage directly with community members to build trust and relationships.
• Conduct research to identify community needs and analyse data for program development.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and stakeholder interactions.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to partners, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the team to promote WEO’s mission and expand its impact.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience in community outreach and customer service.
• Proficiency in research and data analysis related to community needs.
• Passion for women’s empowerment and gender equality.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit or social‑services setting is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or a related field.
