Brand Manager Perfumes and Cosmetics

About the role

The Brand Manager for Perfumes and Cosmetics will lead the development and execution of brand strategies for a leading retail beauty company in Baghdad. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on driving market share, product launches, and promotional activities across all sales channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual marketing plans, product launch calendars and promotional campaigns for perfume and cosmetics lines.
• Analyse market trends, consumer insights and competitor activity to refine product positioning, pricing and assortment.
• Coordinate with suppliers, sales, merchandising and retail operations to ensure consistent brand visibility.
• Oversee in‑store visual merchandising, promotional material production and execution.
• Monitor brand performance metrics, prepare regular reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Manage relationships with brand principals, suppliers and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management or marketing within the perfume, cosmetics or broader beauty sector.
• Strong analytical ability to use market data and sales performance for decision‑making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Organised, detail‑oriented with solid project‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a fast‑paced retail environment and travel to stores and vendors as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience in the Iraqi retail market and familiarity with local beauty trends is a plus.
