Mechanical Engineer – Oilfield Services

About the role

AntonAnton Oilfield Services Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support daily production operations in Maysan, Iraq. The role focuses on ensuring safe, stable, and efficient workflow while delivering technical guidance for mechanical construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations to maintain safety, stability, and efficiency.
• Provide mechanical engineering construction guidance and conduct quality inspections to meet technical specifications and project standards.
• Organize and deliver technical and operational training programs for the workforce.
• Lead technological improvement initiatives and support process optimisation for higher operational reliability.
• Maintain and implement operational systems, procedures, and management standards.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or related engineering activities.
• Relevant engineering or technical certification.
• Fluent English communication skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Preferred age below 45 years, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates.
