Maintenance Supervisor – Fleet & Equipment

About the role

Tameer Al-Janoob Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead fleet and equipment maintenance at its main camp in Al Zubair, Basra. You will ensure that all vehicles, machinery, and related assets are operational, safe, and ready to support our oil & gas and industrial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for light and heavy vehicles, buses, trucks, lifting equipment and other industrial assets.
• Plan and manage maintenance schedules, asset service programs, and workshop activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance contractors and ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures.
• Control spare‑parts inventory, conduct stock counts, and reconcile material records.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, asset histories, and KPI performance reports.
• Support fleet inspections, certifications, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in fleet and equipment operations.
• Proven knowledge of light vehicles, heavy vehicles, buses, trucks, lifting equipment and other industrial machinery.
• Experience in spare‑parts management, warehouse coordination and inventory control.
• Hands‑on experience with stock counting and material reconciliation.
• Understanding of maintenance planning and preventive maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo, and strong Excel/reporting skills.
• Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate multiple activities.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is highly preferred.
