Maintenance Manager – Power Plant Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the planning, execution, and supervision of all maintenance activities for turbine, generator, control, governor, BOP, transformer and electrical systems in a power plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role ensures reliable, safe, and efficient plant operation while managing both planned and unplanned maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, schedules, cost tracking and resource plans.
• Oversee weekly, monthly and annual inspections, as well as multi‑year major overhauls.
• Manage inventory, spare parts, tools and consumables, ensuring compliance with ISO and HSE standards.
• Lead emergency response, troubleshooting and restoration of equipment during forced‑outage events.
• Coordinate with O&M, HSE and engineering teams, participate in technical meetings and design reviews.
• Maintain documentation, conduct HAZOP studies and drive lessons‑learned processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing maintenance in a power‑generation environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate field teams.
• Focus on health, safety and environmental protection.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities under pressure.
