LCC-A Site Manager

About the role

The LCC-A Site Manager will be based at the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) supporting the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract for the U.S. Department of State. Reporting to the OMSS Program Manager, you will lead the LCC team in daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and enforce all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements.
• Receive and execute projects from the customer, OMSS COR/ACOR, with independence within DoS policies.
• Oversee the Program Management Plan, coordinate work priorities, and monitor schedules and milestones.
• Develop and enforce procedures to improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Review work orders, inspect completed work, and ensure compliance with the Statement of Work.
• Prepare and submit detailed project reports and status updates.
• Resolve performance and personnel issues with staff.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory experience in a major construction trade.
• Strong knowledge of project management theories, principles, and practices.
• Familiarity with technical information systems and government contracting regulations.
