Judge Advisor – Iraq National Robotics Competition (Erbil)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Judge Advisor to lead the judging panel at the Iraq National Robotics Competition in Erbil. This volunteer position plays a key part in ensuring a fair and inspiring event for student innovators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the judging panel during the competition.
• Guide judges on scoring criteria and competition rules.
• Ensure fairness, resolve disputes, and maintain competition standards.
• Provide feedback to participants and submit a comprehensive post‑event report.

Required profile

• Proven experience judging robotics competitions or similar STEM events.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
• Availability to be present in Erbil for the duration of the competition.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (Kurdish, Arabic) are a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with robotics kits such as VEX.
• Knowledge of STEM competition formats and scoring systems.
