Human Resources Manager – Kirkuk

About the role

Faraj Medical Services is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives across its healthcare and pharmaceutical operations in Kirkuk, Iraq. The role focuses on building robust HR systems, driving organizational performance, and managing the workforce effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
• Maintain the organizational structure, create and update job descriptions.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and talent acquisition.
• Manage employee records, contracts, attendance, leave, and disciplinary processes.
• Design and operate performance management and KPI frameworks.
• Lead training, professional development, and succession planning programs.
• Handle employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
• Prepare regular HR reports and key metrics for senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional HR experience.
• Strong background in HR policies, systems, and organizational development.
• Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee affairs, training, and job design.
• Ability to develop and implement KPIs and performance evaluation tools.
• In‑depth knowledge of attendance, leave, contracts, personnel records, and disciplinary procedures.
• Experience preparing analytical HR reports for senior leadership.
• Arabic fluency required; Kurdish and/or English are a plus.
