GPP Facility Operator – Oil & Gas Plant

About the role

The GPP Facility Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of rotary equipment and associated processes at an oil and gas production plant. You will work on‑site, ensuring compliance with HSE standards while monitoring plant performance and responding to any anomalies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, log, record and report the status of rotary equipment, escalating anomalies to the CCR Panel Operator.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across all skids and follow start‑up/shut‑down procedures in line with HSE guidelines.
• Operate and monitor gas sweetening, dehydration, compression, raw water treatment, de‑mineralised water plant, condensate stabilization, NGL/LPG production, gas export, and LPG storage processes.
• Execute emergency shutdown procedures and operate safety equipment during plant emergencies.
• Initiate maintenance requests, perform energy isolation, lock‑out/tag‑out, issue work permits, and oversee reinstatement and commissioning.
• Optimize water‑gas treatment processes, maintain gas and LPG quality, and ensure dead‑leg flushing compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive records including audits, fire‑drill checklists, battery inspections, pigging logs, safety procedures, work permits, and production reports.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in oil and gas plant operations or a related field.
• Associate Diploma or Process Operator Apprenticeship.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
