Full‑time Housekeeping Associate

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site housekeeping position supports a hospice hospital in Sulaymaniyah. The team member ensures patient rooms, hallways, bathrooms and common areas are clean, safe and comfortable for patients, families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, hallways, bathrooms and shared spaces using dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and trash removal.
• Replenish supplies, handle basic laundry duties (washing, drying, folding linens) and store them appropriately.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly and follow infection‑control and safety procedures.
• Interact respectfully with patients, visitors and colleagues while supporting clinical and non‑clinical staff.

Required profile

• Ability to perform core housekeeping duties and maintain cleanliness in patient and common areas.
• Competence in laundry tasks such as sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing linens.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to manage time in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or healthcare facilities is beneficial but not mandatory.
