About the role
Cherokee Federal is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Specialist to provide on‑site mental health support for U.S. government personnel in Baghdad and Erbil. The position supports the Diplomatic Support Hospital and is contingent upon contract award.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver behavioral health services at Chief of Mission sites.
- Provide short‑term care to local nationals when authorized.
- Conduct mental‑health triage and notify the PMO of any danger to self or others.
- Assist with stabilization and evacuation coordination as needed.
- Work regular shifts plus overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of experience in behavioral health.
- Secret clearance preferred or ability to obtain the required clearance.
