Rare Disease Advisor

About the role

Er‑Kim is seeking a passionate and experienced Rare Disease Advisor to join its team in Iraq. The advisor will provide scientific and clinical expertise to support the development and execution of medical strategies for the company’s rare disease portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medical plans aligned with the rare disease strategy.
• Serve as a scientific expert on rare disease therapies, offering insights to internal teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups.
• Support clinical development, medical education, and scientific engagement initiatives.
• Provide medical expertise to cross‑functional teams including commercial, regulatory, and market access.
• Review medical and scientific content in promotional and educational materials.
• Support medical information and pharmacovigilance activities related to rare disease products.
• Monitor and analyse scientific and clinical developments in rare diseases.

Required profile

• Experience in Medical Affairs or Market Access, preferably in rare diseases.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to interpret and convey complex medical and scientific information.
• Proficiency in English.
