Field Specialist III - Artificial Lift Systems

About the role

The ALS Field Specialist III leads and supervises Artificial Lift Systems field operations, focusing on Surface and Downhole Jet Pump installations, interventions, maintenance and troubleshooting. The role ensures safe, efficient service delivery while complying with Weatherford and customer QHSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ALS field activities, including Surface and Downhole Jet Pump projects.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor personnel utilization, equipment readiness and operational resources.
• Provide technical support, problem‑solving expertise and guidance for field engineers and local staff.
• Maintain customer relationships, deliver technical presentations and support business development.
• Coordinate equipment mobilization, inventory management and operational reporting.
• Lead safety initiatives, toolbox talks, incident reporting and continuous improvement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on Artificial Lift Systems experience, including Surface and Downhole Jet Pump operations.
• Proven experience supervising field personnel and leading operational activities.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Medically fit for rotational field assignments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Surface and Downhole Jet Pump systems and ALS operations.
• Proficiency with ALS design and simulation software, preferably JEMS and WellFlo.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of QHSE standards, risk management and operational compliance.
