Engineering Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Engineering Storekeeper to join our hotel’s engineering department. The successful candidate will manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies and equipment, ensuring accurate records and timely distribution to support hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and verify goods against delivery notes and invoices.
• Record deliveries and departmental issues in stock ledgers and maintain daily balances.
• Distribute materials to engineering staff based on store requests.
• Enter all inbound and outbound transactions into the computer system on a weekly basis.
• Conduct regular stock‑taking as scheduled by hotel management.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and secure store environment, ensuring no items are left unattended.
• Coordinate weekly requisitions to keep stock levels adequate.

Required profile

• High school or college qualification with previous storekeeping experience in the hospitality sector.
• Proven knowledge of electrical equipment and tools.
• Good command of English.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to work calmly under pressure.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
