Restaurant Manager - Upscale Casual Brand

About the role

A well-known upscale casual restaurant brand is opening a new branch in Erbil and is looking for a Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate has a passion for food and beverage, can connect with guests and staff, manages and develops team members and works within budgeted guidelines while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations with a hands-on approach and maintain exceptional customer service
• Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximise customer satisfaction
• Hold daily pre-shift meetings covering preparation, guest profile, service and menu
• Appraise staff performance, give feedback and organise and supervise shifts
• Lead the restaurant team, incentivise members to maximise sales and revenue and comply with fire regulations and health and safety legislation

Required profile

• Experience in standalone restaurant concepts strongly preferred; minimum 2-3 years in a similar position
• Ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise work, and to meet financial targets
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Ability to work under pressure and excellent grooming standards
• Proficiency in Arabic and French preferred
